We will provide a guarantee on all performance contracts that the measurable energy savings during the evaluation cycle will be equal to 250% of the amount paid for our services. We will bill as a fee for our services 40% of the monthly energy savings for a 40 month evaluation cycle as demonstrated by the PREUF TOOL model. In cases where our services are retained on a fee basis we will guarantee that the energy savings for one year as demonstrated by our exclusive PREUF TOOL will be greater than or equal to the fees received for our services.

Evaluation of energy savings will be based on your billed current energy consumption compared to historical consumption. This evaluation done by our exclusive PREUF TOOL will be able to compare present energy use to historic use because it will take into consideration energy used by base applications and production applications as they pertained to the independent variables of production and weather. For an example, in an energy management project, the measurement will usually incorporate at least one year of billed daily energy use and independent data such as production days, product volume, and weather conditions. This statistical model referred to as the PREUF TOOL will be prepared by our personnel with input from your personnel after reviewing in-depth historical and current energy and production data and application of the Total Quality Energy concept by our staff.

The PREUF TOOL must track properly against past history. The energy consumption drivers must be accepted and approved by your management after reviewing the details of determining the procedures and relationships. Once the energy consumption drivers are accepted by your management our staff will determine the relative values of these drivers. The PREUF TOOL model must track to within 1% per year before it will be presented to the client as the measurement tool. This technique works…. and works well.

We will require a small initialization fee at the start of the energy management and monitoring project. This fee is to offset some project expenses and to show good faith by the client. There will be no additional payment for our services until the energy management and monitoring project has been completed and the proven in pocket energy savings from the PREUF TOOL model are at least twice the amount of the initialization fee paid.
